One of the drivers who attended the camp, Nontle Nqunqa, said that she has learnt a lot from this camp and from now on she will be a much better and safer driver.
“I enjoyed everything that we were taught during these five days and I wish this type of training camp happens often so that we can get an opportunity to get together as drivers and learn from each other as we have different experiences which we can share with each other,” she said.
The Eastern Cape Transport Officer, Xolile Gulwa, said that the drivers were also tested on physical fitness which will assist them not to get tired easily when driving long distances.
