Themba Rabatho, a store person from Ficksburg Base is passionate about the entertainment industry. He is a well known radio presenter for hosting a show at the local Setsoto Community Radio Station on Sundays.

The highly motivated young man hosts a show every Sunday where he tackles love and relationships issues. He began working for the station as a Music Compiler in 2007 and he was later promoted to a presenter. “I love radio particularly my show because I get a chance to solve real life issues related to relationships. I invite Social Workers and Psychologists on my show to give advice to those in need of it,” he told WoFNews.

On weekdays Rabatho performs his duties as a store person at the Ficksburg Fire Base.

He joined the base in 2011 and ever since his fire fighting colleagues have been very supportive. “My WoF colleagues are so supportive of my radio career and I also invite them to be guests on my show from time to time.”

Rathabo is a jack of all traits; he is an Event Coordinator and a Club DJ as well. He doesn’t look at himself as a disabled person. “There is able in disable. I live my life like anyone else,” he added.

He continued to say that he wished people would help disabled people because they wanted to and not because they feel sorry for them.
