Fire was one of the exhibitors at the event.

The Working on Fire exhibition stall was one of the most popular stalls and saw many attendees visiting to learn about fires and the programme itself. Addressing the fully packed auditorium at the Kimberly Convention Centre, Minister Molewa also applauded the firefighters, calling them ‘Soldiers’.
“We are very proud of our firefighters, you saw how hard they worked during the fire storm in Cape Town. They have continued to do so throughout the year,” she said. She encouraged people to care for the environment and avoid unnecessary fires that could cripple the economy of the country.
