An ambitious young Mthokozisi Dlamini (Stage name Manqinenyathi), from the HAT Team in eThekwini has been exploring his passion in the music industry and is well on his way in becoming one of the best upcoming rap artists in Durban.

What makes Mthokozisi happy is when people show interest in his art and believe in him.

“I’m told that I have a unique talent, that I’m different from the other rappers”, said Mthokozisi. He also said that he enjoys live performances the most and the reaction the crowd shows him when he raps which encourages him to continue with his passion.

“I face financial challenges in my career, I find it hard to attend some events that I’m invited too, were I don’t have transport to get to the venue, this is because I don’t have a manager as yet or part of a record label”. Some of his highlights is performing with big names in Hip Hop such as Zakwe Duncan and Malumkhulcat.
