A group of Sri Lankan stakeholders involved in invasive species projects in their country recently undertook a tour of South Africa.

They were hosted by the Department of Environmental Affairs to learn more about how South Africa is dealing with invasive species. The delegation visited the Working on Fire Newlands base where they were briefed about the successes of the WOF programme and the HAT Newlands Team did a demonstration on how they remove invasive species from mountainous terrain.
