Job Profile: 

The role is responsible for providing a generalist comprehensive, proactive, and integrated HR business partnering advisory service to line management and employees in a designated Province, to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures. The role requires a proactive individual who thrives on challenges, works well under pressure, find creative and innovative solutions to problems, and is customer-focused in a complex environment. 

Reports to: General Manager and HOD: Human Resources 

Key Performance Areas: 

  •  Build and maintain constructive relationships with line managers, staff, internal and external HR partners. 
  •  Advising, coaching, and supporting line managers and staff on the full range of HR functions and services such as performance management, recruitment and selection, job evaluation, remuneration and benefits, induction, development and training, staff wellness, organizational design, and employment probation – to ensure consistency with relevant legislation and WOF HR policies and procedures. 
  •  Advise line managers on Employee Relations policy, process, and procedure as it pertains to disciplinary, grievance, restructuring, incapacity, conciliation, mediation, arbitration, and compilation of evidence required for all these processes. 
  •  Communicate/refer/escalate HR-related issues as appropriate. 
  •  Proactively managing projects and change management initiatives in consultation with line management. 
  • Undertake specific projects, in consultation with line management, to facilitate HR activities and enhance client service. 
  • Provide timeous and relevant HR management information, data analytics, and reports. 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree in Human Resource Management 
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ HR experience – with two years experience in a generalist role 
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable legislation: BCEA, EE, LRA, Skills Development 
  • Proven experience in attending to conciliations and arbitrations at the CCMA 
  • Union engagements 
  • Capable of creating and managing well-defined project plans to ensure objectives are met. 
  • Computer literate (Google Suite as an advantage) 
  • Own Laptop and Cell phone 
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Willingness to travel

Job Profile

target driven and professional individuals to join our team. This role is responsible to procure goods and services
competitively and on time in order to meet organisational requirements while complying with organisational
Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Direct report: Assistant Manager: SCM

Key Performance Areas:
• Responds to approved purchase requisition for goods and services
• Matches required goods or services to the existing supplier database
• Sources material/equipment availability and prices submit to relevant parties
• Evaluates submitted proposals/quotations for the final award
• Creates purchase order on Sage Evolution and submits to the successful supplier
• Maintains and communicates a delivery schedule for respective Provinces
• Ensures that all compliance measures are strictly adhered to
• Vetting suppliers and coordinating on boarding process
• Maintain updated supplier database (BBBEE, Supplier Declarations etc.)
• Develops and maintains positive working partnerships with stakeholders
• Payment files submission to Accounts Payable
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts and manages the implementation of contractual agreements
with service providers’ Contracts in place and current and suppliers
• Manage internal and external audits within the area of responsibility, and take control of the request for
information, attending to audit queries.
• Any ad hoc responsibilities relevant to this role/position.
Job Requirements:
• National Diploma/Degree in (Supply Chain / Procurement Management / Logistics / Finance)
• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in Procurement/Finance or completed articles
• Knowledge and preferably practical experience in PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
• Self-motivated, self-managing Individual with the ability to work with a good level of autonomy
• Good communications skills/supplier relations skills.
• Industry experience advantageous
• Experience in purchasing software (Sage Evolution) is advantageous

Job Profile

The Health and Safety Department seeks to appoint an OHS Officer to implement and monitor the execution of the
Health and Safety plan at the Provincial level in order to ensure compliance with the organisational and legislative
requirements.

Reports to: Functionally to the Regional OHS Manager and Operationally to the Provincial General Manager

Key Performance Areas

• Ensure that the OHS management system is communicated, understood, and implemented.
• Ensure that all company operations and activities comply with OHS policies, procedures, and risk management
standards.
• Conduct basic hazard identification and risk assessment of any new operational activities.
• Conduct Health and Safety training and monitor the OHS communications exercises with crews at the bases.
• Ensure all legal appointments are in place and valid as required per legislation and standard.
• Schedule and conduct OHS inspections and audits and compile/submit reports with recommendations.
• Report on all relevant safety, health, and environmental-related incidents and accidents.
• Co-ordinate and execute all requisite incident investigations for major/minor incidents and submit reports with
recommendations and ensure that the implementation of the required recommendations is actioned.
• Coordinate and participate in provincial SHE meetings and facilitate reports on pertinent issues.
• Ensure that Health and Safety Committees are formed, and the relevant meetings are held at all the Bases
under your watch.
• Ensure effective and proper administration of FEM COIDA claims for all Injury on Duty cases.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with COVID-19 legislation and policies.
• Source and regularly communicate changes to OHS legislative/industry requirements to employees.
• Continually provide advice and support to line management on the implementation and monitoring of OHS
programmes, policies, and procedures.
• Process data, maintain and update the database, and submit weekly and monthly reports on OHS status.

Job Requirements
• 3-year National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent qualifications.
• SAMTRAC/SHEMTRAC certificate.
• ISO 45001 certificate/s advantageous.
• At least 3+ years’ experience as an OHS Officer in a professional environment.
• ISO 45001 experience/exposure will be an added advantage.
• A valid Driver’s license and be able to travel away from home frequently.
• Must have own laptop and good working knowledge of Ms Office and Google workspace.
