By the end of the North West drivers yellow card training camp, Victor Zali from Jan Kamp base was crowned the Top Overall best performer in the training camp. The best performer included fitness Vehicle Fire line Safety theory plus Practical, Vehicle Manager theory and Practical assessments.
Zali started working in April 2011 as he was unemployed and needed the job as he did not have money to go to school but WoF helped him find a way out of poverty and he never looked back.
He said he was content with his life and through WoF managed to achieve his goals and balance his life style.
When asked how he became a driver Zali said: “After joining WoF I immediately did my driver’s License because I saw that was the only way I can became a driver therefore I had to equip myself should the opportunity arise.”
After being announced as the Overall best performer Victor said he did not expect this at all. “I never thought I would be rewarded as the best of the best since the training was for the first time in the programme and very challenging with so much to learn.”
“Im very honoured to be presented with this award and my team deserved this award because without them this could never been achieved as we all worked as a team, so big up to everyone and thank you to Working on Fire for such a brilliant opportunity,” Zali concluded.
