The Tsitsikamma Development Trust extends sincere appreciation to WOF-Kishugu JV for their critical contribution during the wildfire that affected Farm 788 (Ekuphumleni) between 25 and 27 November 2025. A total of 51 WOF-Kishugu JV firefighters, including teams from Lottering 09, Bluelilies 08, Kromriver 07, Humansdorp 07, St Francis 09 and Witebos 09, responded with ground crews, fire tankers, transport buses , Light Delivery Vehicles and divisional supervision under T. Sizila.

Their efforts, together with those of Tsitsikamma Development Trust staff, private contractors, Masizakhe Partnership Dairy personnel and Southern Cape FPA, ensured that the fire, which burned 45 hectares mostly consisting of invasive species, was contained safely and effectively.
